Halloween by The Misfits
Bonfires burning bright
Pumpkin faces in the night
I remember Halloween
Dead cats hanging from poles
The dead are out in droves
I remember Halloween
Brown leaf vertigo
Where skeletal life is known
I remember Halloween
This day anything goes
Burning bodies hanging from poles
I remember Halloween

Halloweeeen!! Halloweeeen!!
Halloweeeen!! Halloween!!
Candy apples and razor blades
Little dead are soon in graves
I remember Halloween
This day anything goes
Burning bodies hanging from poles
I remember Halloweeeen!!

Where Eagles Dare by The Misfits
After work, I went home and looked up the Target ad online to see how much the Captain America movie was on sale for…
$20 on Blu-Ray!!
So I grabbed my skateboard and skated six miles to the nearest Target, which is on Santa Monica Blvd and La Brea.
When I arrived, the electronics department had no more copies on display… I wanted to punch someone!!
I asked one of the Target guys if they were completely out… He looked it up and said they were and I gave him a face of disappointment.
He then said to check the front area, there might still be some up there. And there was!!
After I left, I was too excited and fell off my skateboard. I broke the fall with my hands and knees.
I made my way on my skateboard to Beverly Blvd where I took the bus to Vermont and skated down looking for a Korean BBQ place someone told me about. I ended up falling again.
This fall looked pretty bad ‘cause I ended up rolling over after falling and landing on my back. Again, I broke the fall with my hands and knees.
I decided to skip the Korean BBQ and get something at a grocery store. So I skated down 6th Street ‘till I arrived at a Food 4 Less where I proceeded to buy a Dr. Pepper and a frozen pizza.
I then walked home in pain.
When I arrived home, I noticed that my left knee took a really good scraping and the palm of my right hand was bruised.
And then I remembered why I stopped skating years ago.
Nonetheless, today was an interesting day!
