It’s only a month away and I can’t wait! ^w^
“Wait Up (Boots of Danger)” by Tokyo Police Club
-I’m on your team, but I never know when you’re not. You never wear shoes without your socks. You never tell anything to me. I’m on your side, but only for a while of course. You never use words you can’t afford. A house of cards and it’s a sign.-
“Blowin’ in the Wind” by Bob Dylan
-Yes’n how many times must a man look up, before he can see the sky? Yes’n how many ears must one man have, before he can hear people cry? Yes’n how many deaths will it take ‘till he knows, that too many people have died?-
Last day of sharing Bob Dylan songs. Seventh favorite Dylan song. Questions that I ask myself every day.
“Subterranean Homesick Blues” by Bob Dylan
-Look out kid it’s something you did. God knows when but you’re doing it again.-
Almost forgot to share my 6th favorite Dylan song. Tomorrow I’ll end with my 7th favorite.
“All Along The Watchtower” by Bob Dylan
-“No reason to get excited,” the thief he kindly spoke. ”There are many here among us, who feel that life is but a joke. But you and I we’ve been through that and this is not our fate. So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late.”-
Fifth favorite Dylan song. Great story telling and poetry on his behalf. Also, I feel that he gives the song an ominous feeling that isn’t felt in Jimi Hendrix’s version.
“Hurricane” by Bob Dylan
-How can the life of such a man be in the palm of some fools hand? To see him obviously framed couldn’t help but make me feel ashamed to live in a land where justice is a game.-
My fourth favorite Bob Dylan song. It shows that he sings about what he believes in.
